	Jun.	Sanshin Industries Co., Ltd. joined Yamaha group.
	Feb.	Yamaha test track constructed at Fukuroi.

1968	Oct.	First overseas subsidiary, Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (Netherlands) founded.
	Jul.	Yamaha's first snowmobile, the SL350 marketed.
	Apr.	FRP utility boats marketed

1966	Mar.	The first overseas technical assistance agreement signed with Thailand 's Siam Yamaha Co., Ltd.
