Testimonials from previous tours
Wayne Street, NT - "I have been an avid motorcycle rider and fan for as long as I can remember, I also love to travel so I like to try and combine the two. In 2010 while reading a bike magazine a Yamaha Australia tour to Laguna Seca got my attention. Bike racing at a great track and seeing America all in one great package sounded great. On that tour i spent three days at Laguna Seca, I met Colin Edwards, I sat in Rossi's pit chair, and had access to the whole pit area walking around with all the top riders in the world. On the same tour I spent three days in Vegas flying into the Grand Canyon by helicopter for a champagne lunch. I also went to Disneyland, California World and Universal Studios, I watched a Dodgers ball game and shopped at Rodeo Drive. The tour was so good I have not missed one since. Last year was Mugello Italy and no one does a GP like the Italians, it was awesome. The tour took in Rome and Florence. And being a Ducati nut the lovely Amanda arranged an extra tour after the Yamaha trip finished that saw a couple of us stay on and do Venice, Bolognia, the Ducati, Ferrari and Lamborghini factory's. This year was Malaysia and the Sepang GP, I arrived on the day of my birthday, there was a meet and greet tea that night so we could all get acquainted and to my surprise Valentino was sitting at the next table, at the end of the meal I had photo's with Rossi and he wished me happy birthday. That's what I call a b'day present. The next morning we went to the hotel restaurant for breakfast and sat among Pedrosa, Bautista, Rossi, and half of the GP paddock. Each trip has been a highlight of the last three years of my life, I have met some very special people and made some great friendships. Every tour I have stayed in 5 star accommodations and can not fault the running or organisation of every trip. Amanda is an amazing tour host and I look forward to many more Yamaha tours. Bring on Spain this year. A special thank you to Amanda and all the hard work she puts in to make these tours such a great success. Yours truly a tour nut."
