Yamaha Motor Australia is proud to announce their newest dealership with the appointment of Northside Marine, a long standing boating establishment located on the North side of Brisbane. The appointment comes just in time for this year’s summer boating season and is great news for Yamaha customers looking for quality service or new product in northern suburbs of Brisbane.

Northside Marine is a well established dealership owned and managed by Greg Nickerson. Greg took over the business from his father Keith who started Northside Marine in 1965. Northside Marine’s slogan, “Your boating partners for life”, is a philosophy Greg and his team have built the business around and after 45 years in the marine industry it’s a statement that rings true for many of Northside’s loyal and long term customers.

“Northside Marine shares Yamaha’s philosophy of quality and reliability. The layout of the dealership is first class and we look forward to a long and successful business partnership,” said Gaven Patterson, Yamaha’s Dealer Support Supervisor for marine products in Queensland.

When questioned about his decision to become a sole Yamaha dealer Greg Nickerson was excited about the change.

“We have always held a high regard for the quality of Yamaha’s products”, said Greg. “So when the opportunity to become a Yamaha dealer became available the decision was easy.”

Northside Marine, located on Sandgate Rd Boondall, has a large boat yard, indoor showroom, full chandlery, watersports and fishing supplies all within their three acre premises. There’s easy access to drop off and pick up boats as well as off street parking. Northside Marine will continue to supply a full range of Whitley, Stacer, Profile and Frontera boats powered by Yamaha’s range of two and four stroke motors as well as a range of Bayliners.

Yamaha outboards are available through an Australia-wide network of authorised Yamaha outboard dealers.  All Yamaha 4-stroke outboards are supported with a full 4-year manufacturer’s warranty and all 2-stroke outboards are backed by a 3-year warranty – conditions apply.

All Yamaha outboards are available with the unique “Protection Plus” package that allows customers to access extended service protection, Yamaha Marine Insurance as well as YamahaDNA theft protection for more confident and worry free boating.
