The Yamaha Capel 200 is a non-competitive trail riding event, sanctioned by Motorcycling WA and approved by the Department of Conservation (DEC). The event runs over two approximately 65km loops of pre-marked course through the state forest and pine plantations in the Capel – Jarrahwood area of South West WA. The Yamaha Capel 200 uses a combination of technical single track trails, 4WD tracks, and flowing pine firebreaks in a mixture of main trails for riders of all abilities and challenging ‘Enduro’ sections and ‘Special Tests’ for experienced riders.
The Yamaha Capel 200 will start and finish at Ironstone halfway between Capel and Donnybrook, and will run all day from registration at 8am until the spot prize raffle at 4:30pm.
Riders can ride the 65km loop in the morning and the afternoon, or just ride the morning loop if you want an easier day. The loops are slightly shorter than last year, which will give more time for riders who want to do more than one loop. You can also ride the special test at the start-finish as many times as they like.
Entries will be limited, with preference to online pre-entries, SO GO TO http://www.iarc.com.au/ AND GET IN EARLY!
