Caterpillar Yamaha racer, Daniel Falzon has made it back to back championship wins in the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) Supersport 600cc class after the final round was held at Phillip Island on the weekend.

Falzon cemented the victory with a 1-4 result in difficult conditions at Phillip Island and combined with his domination at the opening round at Queensland Raceway, he won the championship for the second year running by nine points over Aiden Wagner and Chris Quinn.

Again, the Yamaha R6 dominated the championship podium with all three riders mounted on Yamahas.

“The championship success of Daniel, Aiden and Chris continues to prove just how good the Yamaha R6 is. Its winning pedigree in the hands over many riders is unquestioned and it is simply the must have bike in the 600cc Supersport category,” states YRD’s John Redding.

“On behalf of Yamaha and YRD, congratulations to all three riders on a successful campaign and a job well done.”
