Yamaha Motor Australia is proud to once again be the major sponsor of the Variety Jet Trek, a long distance personal watercraft ride that raises money for Variety QLD.

The event, now in its 13th year, brings together a large group of dedicated PWC riders looking for an offshore riding challenge as well as a chance to raise money for Variety at the same time.

Variety Queensland works directly with individual families and organisations in their mission to empower Queensland children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn. Yamaha has always been proud to partner with such a well respected organisation and support a worthy cause.

After another successful event in 2011, with riders making the journey from Townsville to Halliday Bay just out of Mackay, the 2012 Jet Trek has been announced with "Trekkers" making the journey from Grafton in Northern NSW to Tin Can Bay in QLD.

The Yamaha Variety Jet Trek is an unbelievable experience with participants not only completing a challenging ride and raising money for Variety but also meeting great people, having heaps of fun and seeing impressive parts of the Australian coastline along the way.
