Thanks to legendary Yamaha reliability, warranty periods are now extended on the entire range of outboard motors. All four stroke models come with a new four year warranty while all two stroke models are offered with a new three year warranty*.

Yamaha's Extended Service Protection (ESP) is a prepaid maintenance program available to all recreational customer purchasing a new four stroke motor (models F50 to F350) and two stroke models from 90 to 200HP. The ESP plan offers significant cost savings over the ESP period, plus guarantees agains future service price increases. With a documented service history, you will also benefit when Yamaha's legendary resale value rises higher than ever. And don't forget the peace of mind out on the water afforded by a regularly serviced outboard.

DataDotDNS is an ingenious identification system that protects against theft by marking a product with unique microscopic discs. Each disc is laser etched with a PIN number that identifies each asset and parts of that asset. The identification number is stored on a national database that can be accessed by police and authorities allowing the genuine owner to be contacted. Warning decals announce to potential thieves that the unit is protected.
