Team Craig Dack Racing (CDR) boss, Craig Dack, was the most successful MX rider of his generation. Among other titles, Dack won a record four consecutive Mister Motocross Championships before retiring in 1992 and investing all his racing knowledge and experience into Team CDR. Now Craig Dack Racing is the most successful dirt bike team in Australian history with over 30 national titles and counting. Just about every successful Australian motocross rider has benefited from being mentored by Dacka. Craig Dack's relationship with the Australian off-road racing society and his success over the span of his career are one-of-a-kind.
30 year old Kirk Gibbs is now a veteran of the sport and has established himself as one of the most consistent and professional riders on the Australian circuit. The hard-working Gibbs has been in championship contention for over a decade at a professional level, highlighted with a MX Nationals championship victory in 2015. Now back with Yamaha and supported by the powerful CDR team, Gibbs enters 2019 as a championship favourite and desperate to claim his second MX Nationals crown.
Luke Clout comes to CDR Yamaha with plenty of momentum after a break through season in 2018. Clout showed himself to be a potential race winner at every gate drop and his fighting spirit was on display at the Australian Supercross Championship when he continually took it up to the big-name US riders at each round.
