Yamaha Rightwaters builds on Yamaha’s long-standing dedication to preserving the natural resources we have today - so that our customers can continue to enjoy them tomorrow.
The program focusses on supporting and promoting the long-term sustainability and conservation of our waterways and oceans.
Originally developed by Yamaha USA, we are excited to be bringing this environmental program to Australian shores, with the aim of supporting local marine habitat protection.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
Our goal is to support marine focused environmental programs that contribute in a meaningful way to the protection and sustainability of our waterways.
We aim to achieve this by supporting local partnerships, through both in-kind and direct financial support, that are focused on waste mitigation and collection, education, scientific monitoring, and community and government engagement.
Thinking Globally and Acting Locally
Yamaha Rightwaters is just one of many programs operating across the Yamaha Motor Group worldwide, supporting Yamaha’s long-term commitment to sustainability and global initiatives to pursue Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Yamaha has developed a detailed Environmental Plan 2050, with climate change, recycling of resources, and biodiversity as priority action areas, as well as setting key milestone targets to be achieved by 2035.
