Each PowerMatched boat package arrives showroom-ready, installed to a Yamaha factory standard by a Yamaha-certified installer, giving you the buyer complete peace of mind, knowing that your boat is set up to the highest standard and optimised for peak performance.

From propeller selection to engine height and rigging, gauges and controls, every detail is fine-tuned, removing the complexity from the boat-buying process, ensuring you hit the water with confidence.

Each initial Yamaha PowerMatched boat, motor and rigging combination is expertly designed, installed, performance tested and optimised by a Yamaha Application Engineer.

This includes selecting engine horsepower, engine mounting height, gauge, controls, props and rigging, as well as undertaking extensive on-water prop testing to achieve optimised acceleration, mid-range fuel economy and top-end speed.


All Yamaha PowerMatched boat packages are installed at the factory by trained and certified Yamaha Installers.

They are responsible for fitting the engine and genuine rigging components according to the detailed installation and component specifications provided by the Yamaha Application Engineer. Before the boat leaves the factory, it undergoes a final quality control checking process.


All PowerMatched models use genuine Yamaha Rigging components, including gauges, controls, switches, wiring harnesses, cables and props, designed by Yamaha exclusively for Yamaha outboards.

Manufactured from the highest quality marine grade materials, these components are engineered to seamlessly work together for long-term durability, reliability and performance.
