YMI Rider Insurance Survey Terms and Conditions
- This promotion (“the Competition”) is “Insurance Innovation Survey Competition with Yamaha Motor Insurance”.
- The Competition is conducted by Yamaha Motor Insurance Australia Pty Ltd 489-493 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park, NSW 2164, Australia ABN 48 603 882 980, AFS Licence 497198). Phone: 1300 794 454. Website: http://www.ymia.com.au/ (“YMI”, “the Promoter”).
- The Competition is open to owners of road-registered motorcycles who complete the Insurance Innovation Survey (“the Survey”) by 11.59pm AEDT Sunday 14 November 2021 during the promotion period Monday 1 November 2021 to Sunday 14 November 2021 (“the Promotion Period”).
- Entrants in the Competition must be Australian citizens aged 18 years or older to be eligible to go in the draw for the Competition prizes.
- By entering this Competition, entrants acknowledge that the Promoter reserves the right to moderate and remove any submissions deemed offensive or contrary to YMI policies.
- Entrants may only enter the Competition through completing the Survey online during the Promotion Period.
- There are five (5) prizes available in the Competition. The total value of all prizes available is $3000.00
- The first prize winner drawn will receive a $2000.00 gift voucher to be spent at www.ShopYamaha.com.au
- Each of the second, third, fourth and fifth prize winners drawn will receive a $250.00 gift voucher to be spent at www.ShopYamaha.com.au
- The Competition is run nationally and commences 12.00am AEST Monday 1 November 2021 with closing date for entry at 11.59pm AEST Sunday 14 November 2021. After this date, no further entries to the draw will be permitted. The Promoter will not be held responsible for entries not received for whatever reason.
- Entrants are allowed only one entry into the draw. The draw is based on a game of chance and the prize winners will be randomly selected by the Promoter.
- The prize winners will be drawn at 4:00pm AEST Wednesday 17 November 2021 from all the entries received during the Promotion Period, at 489-493 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park NSW 2164 and will be announced on the YMI website with prize winners notified via email and/or phone within two (2) business days of the drawn date. The prizes will be subject to delivery by Wednesday 24 November 2021 and can be redeemed at any time up until Wednesday 23 November 2022. If any prize winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within three (3) months of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from that prize winner and select a replacement prize winner. Any such redraw will be made from a pool of the remaining entrants and will take place at 4:00pm AEST Monday 28 February 2022 at 489-493 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park, NSW 2164, Australia. The name of any resulting redraw prize winner(s) and their State or Territory of residence will be published on the YMI website. Any redraw prize winner(s) will be notified within 2 days of the redraw via email and/or telephone using the details provided in their entry.
- Any entrant who the Promoter automatically enters into the draw in accordance with conditions 3. and 6. who does not wish to participate in the Competition can email customerservice at ymia.com.au and request for their entry to be removed from the draw.
- Entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information used by the Promoter to manage, administer and promote the Competition and, more generally, in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at www.yamaha-motor.com.au/privacy/policies/ymi-australia-privacy-policy. If an entrant does not provide the personal information the Promoter requests, the Promoter may not be able to enter them into the Competition. Information about how to access or correct the personal information the Promoter holds about you or complain can be found in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
- The prize winner(s) agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material and expressly waive any claim to compensation for such use. Any personal information relating to the prize winner(s) or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- The prize or part thereof is not transferable and not redeemable for cash or other services.
- The prize winner(s) must agree to provide identification to the Promoter in a form and manner acceptable to the Promoter before claiming their prize.
- The Promoter reserves all rights relating this Competition and can’t be challenged by the participants. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
- Employees of the Promoter, the Promoters related entities or such employees family members in addition to any parties connected in any way with the Competition or helping to set up the Competition will not be eligible to enter the Competition.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party. By entering the Competition, you agree from time to time to receive promotional material from YMI and not opt out of receiving such communications during the Promotion Period.
- All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse awarding any prize to any entrant who the Promoter at its absolute discretion, determines has:
a. breached these terms and conditions; or
b. does something to bring the Promoter or its related entities into disrepute; or
c. did not validly qualify to enter the competition; or
d. fails to follow the Promoter’s reasonable instruction.
- In the event the prizes become unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may, at is absolute discretion, substitute the prize for other prizes of equal or greater value.
