When it comes to personal watercraft, no craft has dominated the race scene quite like the GP1800R SVHO, taking out every major Australian, US and World Championship closed course (stock class) race since it first hit the race circuit in 2017.

This dominance is set to continue in 2023, but with sound to boot. All 2023 GP1800R Super Vortex High Output (SVHO) and High Output (HO) models now come with Yamaha's built-in audio system now available as standard. Simply connect your smartphone and you are off and racing.

The 2023 GP1800R-SVHO model comes in the two colour variants. Choose from Azure Blue or Black with Acid Green. The GP1800R-HO comes in a Black with Carbon finish.

All GP1800R models come with Yamaha’s factory-installed, custom integrated Bluetooth marine audio system, which includes twin, powerful 4.5-inch fully waterproof marine speakers, integrated 2 channel (50 watts per channel) amplifier, easy access control pad and an integrated low-voltage regulator to protect the battery.

All GP1800R models come with Yamaha’s 4.3” Connext helm control with a multi-color LCD display. An easily accessible touchpad control provides convenient access to the many functions including a PIN code security system and DRIVE® Control that allows the owner to set top speed increments and acceleration settings from normal to slow. 

Working closely with our pro riders we developed tilt-adjustable race-inspired, motorcross style handlebars. Keep them low for tight circuits or high for stand up and long distance riding.

The deck design provides improved ergonomics with deeper, wider and self-draining footwells, plus a narrow seat profile delivers improved knee and foot grip, and enhanced rider comfort. 

 

 

 

The race designed intake grate and jet pump allows less turbulent water to flow through the jet pump. The result is better acceleration and less cavitation in choppy water conditions. *Prior year colour shown.

 

An industry-first auto trim function includes Cornering Control, which automatically shifts the trim into the bow down position when decelerating for tighter cornering and a racy feel, and Launch Control, which automatically shifts the trim down to prevent bow rise when accelerating quickly.

All GP1800R models come with a multi-mount base allowing you to connect action cameras, fish-finders and other devices, using third-party (purchased separately) multi-mount connection systems.
