Yamaha Customers Most Satisfied

Yamaha has come out on top in a Canstar Blue survey of most satisfied customers.

Canstar Blue is an Australian customer satisfaction research and ratings business launched in July 2010 with the core purpose of helping consumers make better purchase decisions – typically in the financial services and fast moving consumer goods areas.

Canstar Blue rated motorcycles based on criteria such as value for money, handling, comfort, fuel economy and more. The organisation announced that Yamaha achieved a perfect five-star rating for overall satisfaction to secure their Most Satisfied Customers Award for Motorcycles. Yamaha came out on top in five of the six sub-categories of reliability, value for money, handling, mileage and after sales service – as per the table below.

“Having a great product range is clearly a key factor in achieving a high customer satisfaction score, but so is customer service. We have been working hard with our dealer network to improve our sales and service initiatives and it’s gratifying to see our hard work paying off,” says YMA National Sales and Marketing Manager Denis Roberts.

Survey details: Canstar Blue commissioned I-view to survey 1079 Australian motorcycle riders with results are taken from customers who currently own and have ridden a motorcycle in the last three years. Brands must receive at least 30 responses to be included. Note not all brands available in the market are compared in this survey. Survey results to the end of Sept 2016. See more here.
