Few roads carry the same legend status as Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. Regarded and one of the country’s most enjoyable and most scenic rides, the twisting road that hugs Victoria’s southern coastline is a must for anyone serious about riding pleasure.
This two-day ride starts in Geelong, but it is from the seaside town of Torquay that the fun and spectacular views begin. In addition to the legendary beachfront towns of Anglesea, Lorne, and Apollo Bay, the ride will also visit the lush Aire Valley taking in Triplet Falls and Sabine Falls.
To truly experienced the Great Ocean Road, you must stop and marvel at the majestic 12 Apostles at the Port Campbell National Park. The itinerary of this ride ensures ample time to admire the rugged coastline looking out to the fierce Southern Ocean responsible for carving the surrounding landscape.
The Great Ocean Road is a ride many like to do time and again. This bucket-list ride is rarely enough for any motorcyclist to do only once, cruising the sweeping corners while taking in the spectacular scenery is a truly addictive experience.
