Online pre-registrations are now closed for our WaveRunner test rides. Please see our staff down at the event to register on the day for any available test rides.
To be eligible for a test ride, you MUST supply your own riding gear. Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) will be available on the day for you to loan, if required. Please ensure you have all the equipment/clothing listed below.
- PWC Licence*. If you wish to ride a WaveRunner, you must provide and have on you at all times, a current PWC licence, which must be witnessed by a Yamaha staff member.
- Riding gear, i.e. rashy and ride shorts or wetsuit
*If you do not have a PWC licence and still wish to test ride a WaveRunner, please complete the form below and we will do our best to accommodate you as a pillion passenger.
IMPORTANT - Please ensure you arrive at the Yamaha registration desk, at the Yamaha Marine display within the Australian Motorcycle Festival (located in Langpark, Wollongong) 30mins prior to your test ride time. This is to register your details, witness your licence and take you through the safety briefing. If you do not arrive 30mins prior to your chosen start time, you may lose your alloted time slot. ZERO alcohol/drug policy applies - Yamaha staff has the right to refuse any person deemed to be under the influence, from all on-water activities.
Terms and Conditions – Test ride participants must hold a valid ticket to the Wollongong Motorcycle Festival to be able to undertake test rides on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November.
