The Australasian Off Road Vehicle Association (AORVA) held its first SxS Muster at Bylong Creek just over 300km north west of Sydney nestled between the Wollemi and Goulburn River National Parks.
AORVA, pronounced Or-Va, is a free to join, not for profit association that works with government departments to achieve greater riding location access throughout Australasia for ATV and SSV vehicles. As a member of AORVA you get higher level member benefits and website access.
For those who love a camping weekend away and exploring the country in their SSV Bylong 4x4 Park is a dream come true. One of four parks in the AORVA Ride Park network in NSW, Bylong Creek features 800 acres of mixed terrain situated in a valley surrounded by huge rocky cliffs with a creek running through the property with wildlife wandering through the nearby bush. Tracks range from beginner to very experienced and owner Bruce KerneyBruce Kerney is continually upgrading to provide more exciting trails to experience.
AORVA members who attended ranged from families to mates looking for opportunities to challenge their driving skills and capabilities of their SSVs. The weekend started with a tag along tour through the park with trails from easy to challenging. But with the support of the more experienced drivers everybody made it through excited to discover the off-road capability of their vehicles.
YMA joined dealers from Dubbo and Muswellbrook to test the new Wolverine X2 and X4. It was a great opportunity to showcase both vehicles to everybody who attended. For those who enjoy the rush of sport SSV the complex has an open circuit where you can stretch the legs of your YXZ1000R.
Almost 100 people attended the weekend with an AORVA sponsored BBQ dinner on the Saturday night.
Bylong Creek is just one of four parks in New South Wales that accepts the AORVA Free Ride Pass. If you purchase a YXZ1000R stick or paddle shift or a Wolverine X4 you will receive an AORVA Free Ride Park pass you can use at these fantastic ride parks.
Become a member of AORVA free of charge and they’ll keep you up to date with the latest events and riding areas available.
