Introducing the all-new Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R and RMAX4 1000 XT-R

A new three piece, easy-to-open door design features a steel inner structure, a moulded outer door skin and inner door panel for a high quality feel. The robust inner door handles keep the mud out to operate smoothly in the harshest of conditions. The doors feature integrated snap out speaker panels for easier upgradability, and soft touchpoints for an automotive feel and all-day comfort. To ease entering and exiting the vehicle, the front doors feature an enlarged opening, 63% wider than previous Wolverine models. Further increasing comfort, the front shoulder bolster shapes are optimised for a more secure-feeling.

An exceptional seating position provides a planted feel and reduces fatigue, which is essential for occupants to enjoy the driving experience. The new Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R keeps occupants comfortable and secure with its wide bolstering and additional leg room for larger occupants. The driver's seat has increased adjustability compared to previous Wolverine models, combined with a new no-tool, easy-to-adjust, six-position seat belt for added comfort.

Driver and passenger comfort features include a tilt steering wheel with 17 degrees of adjustment, and a new adjustable passenger handhold with a robust design that won't get clogged with mud or dirt. Furthering driver comfort, the new throttle and brake pedals have been optimised for comfort, while a new strategically-designed brake master cylinder cover helps keep the mud and water off the driver's feet.

Featuring the most automotive-style driver and passenger soft touchpoints in its class, the Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R provides a more relaxed experience even over rough terrain. The steering wheel and passenger handhold have the best shape and soft-touch in the market while providing a quality feel way beyond the competitors' hard plastic. Additional comfort points have been strategically placed in locations where knees and arms frequently contact interior components. Chrome inlays are also embedded in the shifter and hand brake for added styling.

Large storage optimised to provide protection from the elements, the Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R features a sealed 2.7L centre console, a 5.5L sealed glove box, and centre console cubbies. Both occupants can also quickly access their belongings with driver and passenger storage shelves containing secure rubber mats to keep items in place and two easy-to-reach cup holders.

For extra comfort, the Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R features a light-effort shift lever and natural-feeling parking brake lever, both of which designed with colour-matching accents and chrome inlays for the ultimate finish. 

For accessibility in low light conditions, the new Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R features an interior light package to easily navigate controls. The blue LED lighted switches, floor lights, and console lighting complement the automotive-inspired cockpit and are colour-matched to the new blue backlit meter for a high-quality feel and premium look.

For extra comfort and protection, the suntop is engineered to keep the sun and other elements off the occupants as much as possible, while offering the ultimate in accessory incorporation with integrated sealing surfaces and mounting points for a variety of Yamaha Genuine Accessories.

The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R offers comfortable, secure seating for four full-sized adults with comfortable handholds and six-position seat belts for each seat. The second row is raised for excellent visibility, so everyone gets a great view of their surroundings. 

The Proven Off-Road technology of Yamaha’s Ultramatic® system is unmatched in the industry. The CVT system utilises a new, centrifugal wet clutch purpose-built to withstand the power from the new 999cc engine, and a constant tension belt system for tackling obstacles in high rev range without fear of damaging the belt. A new multi-piece front bumper gives the Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R a stylish new look. With two welded steel trailering tie-down points, factory-installed WARN® VRX 4500lb winch, accessory brush guard, and accessory pod light-mounting brackets, you'll confidently be able to take on the toughest terrain.

The one-way sprag clutch offers natural and predictable engine braking at all speeds. Maximising traction and reducing wear on the vehicle's brake system helps descend hills with confidence. The all-wheel engine braking combined with the new Wolverine RMAX 1000 XT-R brake calipers and rotors results in excellent feel and feedback for confidence-inspiring stopping power. With 255mm rotors and 32mm dual piston calipers up front and 244.5mm rotors and 27mm dual piston calipers in the rear, the perfectly-matched master cylinder and steel braided brake lines bring the RMAX to a stop, even in the toughest of terrains.

New stealthy, advanced LED headlights with lo and hi beam provide wide coverage for confidence-inspiring nighttime driving. New LED marker lights showcase the XT-R's unique, sleek style while integrated LED taillight, brake light and reverse light keep you visible on the trail and enhance visibility when reversing.

Yamaha's proven durability is highlighted by the durable surface treatments and carbon steel construction of the front differential and rear gear case. It is can also be seen in the large 62mm front and 72mm rear DAC (Double Angular Contact) wheel bearings, forged sway bar links, wide pitch A-arms and single stamped A-arms, and large vehicle-specific ball joints.

The Wolverine RMAX4 is equipped with Yamaha's Speed Management System which uses the YCC-T to limit the vehicle to a top speed of 40 kph without sacrificing the full power of the 999cc engine. Speed is governed by a removeable key which makes the system ideal for work sites or other special operating conditions.
