TT-R110E Winner Pays It forward

Sean’s ShopYamaha Racing Jacket Scores Him A New Motorbike and Gear

Sean Delaney, a true Yamaha enthusiast from Sydney, has emerged as the winner of the ShopYamaha Win A TT-R110E with Yamaha Racing competition.

The contest offered participants the opportunity to win a brand spanking new Yamaha Fun Bike and an extensive pack of riding gear from ShopYamaha.

To enter, customers needed to spend $150 or more on selected Yamaha Racing products from ShopYamaha and register their details online via the ShopYamaha web page. Sean's entry eligibility came via his purchase of a Yamaha Racing jacket from the pop-up ShopYamaha store at this year's Australian MotoGP event at Phillip Island.

When ShopYamaha staff dialed Sean's number to deliver the exciting news, he was lost for words. "I was stunned, it was amazing," he revealed. "Entering a competition always involves a bit of crossed fingers and fleeting hope, so it was a surreal experience when the call came."

Adding to Sean's excitement was the additional news that the prize also included a full kit of ShopYamaha riding gear.

A Yamaha fan for as long as he can remember, Sean ventured into motorcycle riding upon his arrival in Australia. "I learned how to ride on a farm while living in Western Australia," explained Sean. "It was a very Aussie way to do it. As soon as I could ride well enough, I obtained my license and purchased an MT-03."

While the TT-R110 may be a tad small for Sean's adult frame, he still plans to greatly enjoy his prize. "The son of a friend loves riding his minibike, but he has outgrown the bike - as well as his riding gear - so winning a new Yamaha fun bike and riding gear has happened at the perfect time. I can't thank the team at ShopYamaha enough."

Sean believes his Yamaha journey is also due to take another step up. "I recently sold my MT-03, and I'm now looking at an MT-07, but the real goal is a YZF-R1M.”

Racecourse Motors Yamaha in Randwick was the location for the official prize handover. Presenting the spoils, ShopYamaha DRM David Rickets stated.

"It's always a real feel-good moment when you get to hand over a new Yamaha to someone who is going to put it to good use and enjoy it. While Sean won't be riding the bike himself, I have a feeling that this Kando moment will be the catalyst for him to take the plunge with that new MT-07 he has been promising himself."
