Yamaha Motor Australia Claims a Trio of Prestigious Telly Awards

Yamaha Motor Australia’s award-winning #UnitedByYamaha brand campaign has added three more prestigious international honours to its list of achievements, with three films from the Yamaha stories series recognised at the recent Telly Awards, receiving gold, silver, and bronze awards.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards celebrate excellence in video and television across all screens. The honours follow on from the success of Travelling Between Worlds, which received a 2024 ACS Gold Award.

Launched by Yamaha Motor Australia in 2021, the #UnitedByYamaha brand campaign reflects Yamaha’s Kando philosophy, showcasing the people, passions and communities connected through Yamaha products and experiences.

Ecosystems on the Brink - # UBY Episode 09
Gold Telly Award in the Branded Content – CSR: Corporate Social Responsibility category.

Featuring New Zealand marine biologist Dr Riley Elliott, the story highlights efforts to better understand and protect great white sharks and the fragile ecosystems they inhabit. Supported by Yamaha’s Rightwaters initiative, the film demonstrates how science, education and partnerships can help reshape perceptions and drive conservation outcomes.

Outback Cleanups - #UBY Episode 08
Silver Telly Award in the Branded Content – CSR: Corporate Social Responsibility category. 

The film follows Boe Langford and his mission to remove rubbish from some of Australia’s most remote and fragile environments. Supported through Yamaha’s Rightwaters initiative, Langford uses Yamaha equipment to reach isolated areas and continue his grassroots environmental work protecting beaches, bushland and waterways.

Travelling Between Worlds - #UBY Episode 07
Bronze Telly Award in the Branded Content – Documentary: Short Form category.

Exploring how Indigenous artist Jade Akamarre  balances her corporate life in Adelaide with her deep cultural connection to family country in the Northern Territory. Through art inspired by Dreaming stories, family heritage and time spent on land and ocean, the film captures her two worlds and the role Yamaha products play in her creative process.
