An established local family business, led by Dealer Principal Matt Inman, R & M has been delivering marine services, repair and repowers to Peninsula boaters for over 14 years.
From humble beginnings as a one man band operating from a small workshop and a mobile service van, R & M’s reputation for going above and beyond has seen the business grow rapidly over the years, resulting in their recent move to their new multi factory facility in Rosebud.
Now employing seven marine specialists, Matt and the team are excited to be taking on the marine industry’s leading outboard brand, which includes Yamaha outboard sales, parts and accessories, authorised servicing, and Yamaha Motor Finance and Insurance product lines.
Matt stated, “When I heard that Yamaha was looking for an experienced operator in the area, I jumped at the opportunity.
“I consider Yamaha to be best outboard brand there is. My customers crave reliability, and nobody has a reputation for reliability like Yamaha,” Matt said.
R & M specialises in servicing inboard and outboard motors and repowers from tinnies up to 15 metre vessels and everything in between, with 90% of their business coming from within the Peninsula area.
The Rosebud facility, conveniently located between two major marinas, provides storage services for up to 70 boats, which is handy for those who holiday in the area or don’t have the space at home.
The property includes three factory facilities for servicing, repair and repower work and a newly built showroom to showcase Yamaha’s extensive line-up of outboards, rigging, parts and accessories.
“In addition to taking on Yamaha, we are also looking to introduce a boating brand in the new year, allowing us to provide a complete end-to-end boat, motor, trailer and service offering,” Matt said.
