The team kept the usual look of the bike but added in a couple of Australian flavours with the Green and Gold featuring on the radiator shroud and the Australian flag running through the number board.
There is no doubt the look is striking and easy to spot when Jed Beaton and Aaron Tanti pit themselves against the best riders in the world at the highest profile motocross event in the world in front of 100,000 fanatical French fans.
“The bikes will certainly stand out on the track as there is a lot of colours on them,” explains CDR owner, Craig Dack. “We have kept the team look but added the Australian elements that make for a striking appearance, and we are looking forward to seeing both the boys on them in France.
“Competing in this event is a huge effort and I thank all our partners for stepping up and assisting us. Having two riders competing at the MXON, a national Supercross Series to prepare for, Jed racing in the US has made for a busy time at CDR and a lot of requests to our partners but everyone has stepped up and given the team their full support and we look forward to representing them on the world stage in France,” Dack ends.
In a moment of synergy, Dack himself made his Australian team debut in 1986 and competed at the MXoN 40 years ago in Maggiora. Italy. Now to have his to riders represent Australia is a proud and significant moment for Craig and his team.
The bikes will be packed up and head to France in the coming days. In previous years, riders have often used bikes supplied for them at the event, but the quality and performance of the CDR Yamaha YZ450F is at a world level and both Jed and Aaron felt they would be far more comfortable on their own bikes and able to achieve their best results.
The Motocross of Nations is on October 3-4 in France. The last time the event was held in France, 102,000 people packed the hills around the Ernee circuit and made for an electric atmosphere. Over 30 countries are expected to be there as the best of the best face of in 2026.
