Yamaha riders claimed seven AusEnduro championships in a successful weekend of racing at the final rounds of the series at Coonalpyn, South Australia. Rachael Archer returned to racing after missing the previous Aus Enduro rounds with illness. She instantly showed her class and went on to win both days, claiming the Women’s division win in Saturday’s Cross-Country as well as Sunday Sprints.

She was joined on the EW podium by Madison Simpson who finished third in Saturday’s Cross- Country. Simpson had another solid season and finished up second in the Women’s championship behind 10-time winner, Jess Gardiner.

Jeremy Carpentier also enjoyed a good weekend to go along with an impressive 2026 season. Carpentier moved to the E1 class (250cc) and instantly proved competitive. He maintained good form all season and finished the final weekend with a pair of second places to cement his second place in the series.

The E1 podium on Sunday was an all-BLU CRU affair with Jett Yarnold finishing in third behind Cooper Sheidow and Jermey Carpentier. Yarnold returned to racing at the last round of the championship but then had to sit out the Cross- Country due to illness but he was able to be back for the final round, and the E1 class saw the three Yamaha riders locked in battle all day.

After six tests, all three riders were under two seconds apart. But then Sheidow stepped up, Yarnold didn’t have the fitness to run with him and Carpentier was wedged in the middle.

Marcus Nowland didn’t have the weekend he was after. The EJ (under 19 class) saw three riders separated by 6 points coming into the final weekend and after an eventful two days of racing, Nowland finished second in the championship.

Wil Ruprecht did exactly what he needed to do to secure the E2 and Pro Enduro championship. He raced methodically all weekend to take fourth on both days and take home his maiden Pro Enduro championship.

Corney Gets World Yamaha R3 Cup Wildcard
Australia’s Hunter Corney has earned himself a wildcard entry to contest the final round of the World R3 Cup at Estoril, Portugal. Corney will join follow fellow Australian, Valentino Knezovic who is racing the final three rounds in the R3 C championship.

Corney has been competing in the Asia Pacific BLU CRU R3 Cup with impressive results, and his speed and skill have won himself the opportunity to race at the final round and test himself against some of the best up and coming racers in the world.

He currently leads the Asia Pacific R3 Cup by 23 points after four rounds and is well placed to claim the championship with two rounds remaining. He will face still competition to finish out the season from Teeranai Tabtim and fellow Australian Phoenix O’Brien.

Drane Makes More History
Tom Drane has clocked up another record in his remarkable two-year stint in the US contesting the AMA Flat Track Nationals for the Estenson Yamaha team.

Drane won the championship in 2025, the first by an international rider, he went back-to-back for 2026, claiming the title again. During his title run in 2026, he has won the most main events in AFT Singles history and then on the weekend added, the most main event wins in one season when he took his total to nine from the 16 main events.

Drane won the penultimate round in Springfield by less then .05 of a second. It was a win of the barest of margins and then returned the next day to land on the podium in third. He also made a cameo appearance in the Supertwins category and instantly showed that if a move to the bigger class is on the cards, he will be an instantly championship threat win he was just pipped at the finish, coming home in second place, just 0.009 of second.
