Yamaha has once again taken out the ‘Watercraft of the Year’ award, as chosen by the industry’s most authoritative publication, the Watercraft Journal.
The 2019 award was given to the Yamaha VX Cruiser HO, which is powered by the industry’s largest capacity 1.8 high output marine engine, housed in Yamaha’s patented NanoXcel high-performance hull - to delivering an exceptional ride and power-to-weight performance.
The VX Cruiser HO is the top model in Yamaha’s versatile VX Series and comes with a host of technologies and features, as seen in Yamaha’s premium FX Series WaveRunners.
This award sees Yamaha achieve an industry milestone, after also taking out the ‘Watercraft of the Year’ awards over the previous two years, for the world championship winning GP1800.
These results are the reward and accumulation of years of cutting-edge research, innovative design and engineering excellence, that goes into each and every WaveRunner model.
Award finalists are chosen from the wide range of models reviewed by The Watercraft Journal throughout the year and is judged on industry impact, innovation, market reception, and other attributes.
