Ayla Soutar

How did you get into motorcycling?
Commuting, I got into motorcycling because I wanted a better way to get to Uni.

What type of rider are you?
I love to have a bit of fun, and will push my limits from time to time, especially when the opportunity presents itself.

What challenges have you faced as a motorcyclist?
Height. I'd love to get into more adventure riding, but it's very difficult getting experience with taller bikes and building my confidence.

What is your current bike and what do you like about it?
I love my FZ8N. She's smooth, reliable, and takes me everywhere I need to go, whether that's a day at the track, or a camp out in a rural town.

What do you most like about riding bikes?
Riding motorcycles gives me a sense of empowerment, control, and pure bliss. I love how when you're exploring new roads, you experience the environment, you can taste the air, feel the temperature drop, or the bite of the sun. I love the adrenalin, and that moment when you scrape boots or pegs that shows you've been leaning into the ride - excuse the pun.

Do you have any motorcycling related goals?
My bucket list is to ride iconic trails through US, UK, Europe and South East Asia on bikes from that region.
