Jones Marine, situated in the small but busy fishing port of Karumba, is the only outboard dealer in The Southern Gulf of Carpentaria. Our service is extended to individuals and businesses alike in the Gulf area including Mornington Island, Burketown and surrounding areas where regular working visits are required to keep the fishermen fishing. Our main customers, the commerical fisherman of Barra, Mackeral and mudcrabs, run predominately YAMAHA outboards as well and fit up their rigs with LOWRANCE Fishfinders and GPS's, GME electronics and HYDRIVE steering when required. Our business is also dealers in CLARK boats and REDCO trailers. Catering for the recreational fisherman, Jones Marine retail bait and tackle, such as RMG, HALCO, PEDETEK, REIDY'S and LIVELY LURES as well as L WILSON & CO, SEAHORSE and PLATYPUS tackle. For those break downs or alterations we stock a variety of boat trailer parts including springs, U-bolts, rollers and winches as well as boating requirements and accessories like nav lights, bilge pumps, rod holders and most other things boating. We also hire boat trailers for those travellers with roof toppers. If your boat or trailer is in need of repair, it can be fixed here, and aluminium fabrications are a specialty.
