ABOUT SVIA
The All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute, a not-for-profit division of the Speciality Vehicle Institute of America, was formed in 1988 to implement an expanded national program of all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and side by side vehicle (SSV) training, safety education and awareness. It is recognised as the number one training institution internationally.
The Yamaha Motor Australia ATV/SSV Safety Institute was set up using SVIA principles to promote the safe and responsible use of ATVs and SSVs, thereby reducing crashes and injuries that may result from improper operation by the rider.
